As I (Tony) watched the children’s skits in Danang, I noticed a man I didn’t know, who should not have been there, sitting and watching. Curious, I asked who he was. It turned out to be one of the performing children’s close relatives. Indeed, he had raised the child (a boy) in a one-room rental - the kind with a water spigot and a “hole-in-the-floor” toilet. But I was confused. Why hadn’t the relative kept the boy? Why did we have him? I found out why. The man had only several weeks to live.

When the relative passed, Orphan Voice staff gave the grieving child special and prolonged attention. “More than enough” food became normal for him, and he gained weight. He repeated his last grade, but this time, with help, he passed. Bottom line: ???????????????? ???????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ???? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? “???????????????????????????? ????????????????????!” ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????????: “???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ????????????????.”
