When tsunamis, typhoons, floods, and mudslides deliver their devastation, men, women, boys and girls are overwhelmed and stunned. They suffer. They need help. Most of all they need to know that someone cares. And with the knowledge that someone cares, they need practical help (food, water, and other supplies) to rebuild their lives. It’s during these times of peoples’ greatest suffering that Orphan Voice partners step in to help. They convey the Love of Christ to bring hope to the downcast.
During the last two years, some Americans have faced sweeping and devastating floods, tornadoes which have ripped away homes and uprooted trees, and resulting power outages for days on end. During these times of suffering, there is little difference between an American and an Asian. In America, Orphan Voice partners work to relieve suffering wherever they find it. They work to lend “a helping hand” – all the while communicating the Love of Christ to hurting people.
