You Have Changed Trang ’s Life!

For years, the only education available to Trang was a school for the disabled that did not teach sign language. Her parents sent her there, hoping, year after year, that she would learn some reading and math skills. Repeatedly, they were disappointed. That changed last fall when Trang’s family learned about New Beginnings School for the Deaf. After just a few months, Trang is signing, reading, and improving in math. She often asks her father to take her to school early so she can talk to her friends, help the teacher prepare for the day, and practice math problems! She is responding to the love and encouragement of her kind teacher and new friends. New Beginnings is changing the daily lives...and the futures...of Deaf students every day. If Orphan Voice highlights one of its outreaches in requesting funds and that outreach is fully funded, or if unforeseen/governmental circumstances intervene so that the highlighted outreach cannot be completed, excess gifts will be applied to other outreaches focused on special needs children, orphans, the poor, the deaf, or youth vulnerable for abuse or trafficking.
