More Than Meets the Eye

Liu and Na celebrate the Tet holiday at Promise House with homemade "banh chung cake"--a traditional treat of sticky rice, pork belly and mung beans wrapped in banana leaves.

Your gifts provide a family

Your generous gifts provide housing, food, clothing, schoolbooks, medical care, and more everyday needs.  And, they do much more.  Orphans find a family. The lonely find friends.  The struggling receive encouragement.  The discouraged receive hope.

A few weeks ago, Vietnam celebrated the lunar new year. Tet is the biggest holiday of the year and often these traumatized or neglected young people miss out on the joy of celebrating with loved ones. This year, children from Promise House and young adults from Victory House joined together for holiday fun.  Together they decorated, cooked, played games, sang together, and experienced "family." You made the way for that to happen. Priceless!
