Cambodia, like Vietnam, a Buddhist country, has a Christian history similar to Vietnam, but with a great revival shaking the country in the 1970s. Since that awakening, Cambodians have fought poverty and related problems. Currently, Cambodia is ranked among the five worst nations in the world for human sexual trafficking.
In addition to trafficking, there is the sexual abuse of minors and the prostitution of older girls and women that must be stopped.
In Orphan Voice promotional and fund-raising literature, names which are used are fictional to protect the identity of the children. At times, faces are blurred to give further protection.
