Eight years ago, Dat was an active 6-year-old who loved to run and play outside. His life changed in an instant when a truck driver backed into the yard to turn around. Dat was hit and left paralyzed on his right side.
After the accident, Dat received therapy at the hospital and saw improvement. But when the family’s money for therapy ran out, his condition deteriorated.
That’s when you stepped in to provide a therapy center in Dat’s rural area. Two years ago, Dat began sessions three times each week. Through stretching exercises, therapy equipment, and weightlifting, Dat is walking again. He can hold objects, help with household chores, and take care of himself independently. You gave Dat a shot at recovery--and he is grabbing hold of it with determination and work. Thank you!
